LOVE this song. I love its mournful intervals and catchy rhythms; I love that it's based on a true story; I love the haunting poetry of the lyrics.

True story: I have a good friend who shares the love of this song--when he was planning his wedding he told me he wanted to end the reception with this. I was all "uh...she might have something to say about that." Can you just imagine ending a wedding reception with The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald?!
