Also I don't really see it as 'bratty'. Young kids sorta depend on their parents, and if their parents are lying and manipulating them for fame on the internet, then the parents are at fault.
The kids are acting in a way that is realistic and understandable for their age, if anything , the adults doing this are the ones being bratty. "hey I'm just going to tell you a lie I KNOW will upset you and then record you to the word when you get upset and possibly tease you even further. All for the sake of a meme. And I'm the adult here"
