I detest those vids. ANY kind of vid like that. I know there was one for a while that was a young teen being told she had super-fab tickets to...something she really liked. Hannah Montana or something? And then her mom was all 'jk, lol' and the poor girl was inconsolable.

I can't imagine doing that to my kid, ever, and certainly *not* taping it and showing it to the world. Cruel and unnecessary.
