I was watching Master and Commander today and I remembered that despite being set up for a sequel, it never got one. And, man did I want one. I still want one.

So, what movies did you want sequels to?

I want a prequel to Inception focusing on Eames.

The movie wasn't even complete, as far as I'm concerned. I just want a damn ending.

Master and Commander! They contracted to do three and I'm still bitter about never getting the other two. I want the movies because the books just don't do it for me. I like the stories but I hate the writing );

I thought they were going to make a series of movies, but El Dorado apparently bombed so they didn't.

The Incredibles. I appreciate that the only reason there isn't one yet is because Brad Bird is refusing to make one until he has an idea for it that's worthy of the first one, but dammit, I want him to have already come up with that idea and made the movie.

I know the Golden Compass movie wasn't the best but I really wanted to see the rest of His Dark Materials!

Since everything is being remade these days, I'm kinda hoping for a remake or reboot sometime dwn the line.

Oh and does it count if I say that they should do a new Henry VI & Richard III to go with last year's Hollow Crown? I mean, yeah, the Henriad's better known but Henry VI is still fun and if you have someone really juicy as Richard you can build up to his own play. And Margaret's epic bitchery! And ~~mocking the French~~ badass Joan of Arc, one of the highlights of Part 1 (although it is the weakest of the tetralogy). They'd probably have to cast two actors as Henry (maybe Margaret too?) to reconcile his age, but that wasn't much of a problem in The Hollow Crown so *shrugs*. Anyway, more Shakespeare!

The Covenant. Not the best movie and I think it bombed at the box office but I love the hell out of it (and Toby Hemingway) and it was left open for a sequel. I wanted to know more about the three who weren't Caleb and their families and see if Reid made it through his Ascension.

Yes, I loved that ridiculous movie a sequel would be fab.

Still mad they never made a sequel to Anachronox. By "sequel" I mean "second half of the game" of course.

I actually kind of want a sequel to I Am Number Four. I haven't read the books, because they just look super pretentious, but I liked the movie.
