I hate it when characters like another character they canonically dislike in a fic. Like, say Character A from whatever show repeatedly says Character B is annoying, acts irritated by them- if I open a fic and Character A acts like Character B is a funny, great guy/girl or something, with no explanation, I just can't read the rest of the fic (no matter how much I might like Character B).

Yes! I hate that, too. Or when they're paired/slashed and in the show they would *never* be together, mostly because one person did something really awful to the other.
