Today I didn't want to stay home but I didn't have the energy to go out so I laid on the stairs leading up to my apartment and let my dog eat my hair while making little moany sounds pretending I was a decomposing zombie getting picked over by scavengers. It made me feel better until someone walked by and stopped to look at me.

Went to work. Packaged stuff. Got a splinter in my back from rubbing against a pallet. :C

I would like to have seen a picture of this.

I took my mother shopping and got my glasses adjusted. No dogs eating my hair, but the day's not over yet. I've got three dogs, and one of them is a hair eater.

That sounds hilariously adorable.

I drove 550 miles and delivered my cargo on time! Just barely, but whatever, it counts. Then I got Subway and watched The Wrath of Khan and The Search For Spock and now I'm being massively unsuccessful at sleeping. Good day, overall.

Went to the doctor and found out I have a sinus infection.

Watched some old Red Letter Media stuff. WHO HERE WATCHES HALF IN THE BAG AND BEST OF THE WORST????? BECAUSE I NEED PEOPLE TO TALK ABOUT IT WITH!!!

Tried to watch some British period piece, but it was boring. Tried to watch The Host, but it was boring. Read mediocre Destiel. Fucked about on Tumblr. All in all, a very productive day.

Got butt-called by my sister, and spent 30 minutes in the ensuing conversation talking to my mom and my sister and laughing at my cat.

Spent a few hours picking through fragmentary documentation about social media and its civic applications, and crisis response, and then got distracted by a 2nd phone call from my sister.

Learned for a fact (signed paper and everything!) that I am not brain damaged.

I keep having the worst feelings that I am both a.) not doing enough in my life and b.) doing too much to be able to successfully handle. I have not yet figured out which one of these answers is the correct one.

ehhhh. went to classes. had my last wet lab in organic chemistry for the semester (yay!). fell asleep reading a book (not so yay, now I feel groggy and bloated; I really dislike naps). ate junk food. feeling somewhat gloomy; I think it's PMS. putting off cleaning up my house. I need a weekend.

I had an unusual day off since I got pulled in for a different shift eariler this week, but I had to drive to work anyway to get my schedule for next week and pick up my paychecks. On the way home I bought sandpaper and was thoroughly dismayed at how much of the craft store has been overrun by Christmas stuff.

I had a job interview. It feels like it went well but i have no clue and i would really like to just have a job and this place could be cool.

Well, they had a couple of places open, but it seems probably the second or assistant baker to the lead baker. The hours would be perfect (six a.m. to three p.m) and it's right down the road....

Worked for like 9 hours. I'm still not home. :(

That sucks. :( I've been working fourteen hour days this week and blew my one day off today doing nothing but moping and sleeping. Hope you enjoy having time to yourself hopefully soon.

Thanks <3 14 sounds totally insane and I really even shouldn't complain haha. But we've had a busy week too. After tomorrow we have a long weekend so I'm totally excited, haha.

Held a sick baby again. I had to get the administrative assistant to proctor the midterm for my comp 2 class.

*sigh*

She's definitely better, but still not herself. Poor pitiful monster.

I *think* her fever has finally broken though. *crosses fingers*

My supervisor brought me a new pair of shiny pink earphones so I can do my transcription work without disturbing anyone else who might need to share the office with me. I discovered that a lot of things that I couldn't hear and needed to mark "Inaudible," the first time I played the tape, could now be heard. However, a whole lot of them still can't be heard: that's what you get when you're transcribing an interview with a guy who is 90.

Went to work. Spent several hours with a coworker trying to debug some code which boiled down to two simple little lines.

Normally I work from home on Fridays, so I schedule appointments in the morning and work from afternoon to evening. However there's a big deadline for a company coming up and my boss asked us all to come into tomorrow, so I had to cancel one and will end up losing some money because of it. :\

Played some Skyrim, did some work. Considering playing some more Skyrim now that work is done XD

Mostly I played video games in bed and then gave up at 7pm and just turned out the lights and fell asleep for 13 hours.

I think I'm still recovering from Youmacon last weekend.
