This is me with every Bethesda game. It took me at least a year to finish Fallout 3, and I still feel proud of myself that I accomplished it. Cause I still haven't beaten New Vegas or finished any of the DLC...

I am at the point of the main quest where you're looking for Alduin's Wall. I was not aware that it would cause a dragon epidemic across Skyrim. I can't get a single fucking quest done without having to kill something like four dragons (or run away from four dragons I guess). So I get even less done because I'm like "Ok I'll get rid of some sidequests AUGH DRAGON all right I've found this cave time to sneak AGH DRAGON Oooh I've found a new Standing Stone which one is that SHIT IS THAT A DRAGON PRIEST WTF RUN AWAY".

It doesn't help get much done.

I think your game stole all of my games dragons, because I never seem to get any. Or when I do, they always get distracted by that /really/ threatening mudcrab waaaaaay over there. And then I either have to run after it and try to get it's attention via shouting or magic (I have terrible aim), or I have to start walking the away from it (letting the dragon consume the countryside) until I can fast travel again. I usually walk away. I am a terrible Dragonborn.

The mudcrab comment is killing me. DAMN NO GOOD DRAGON!

Mine typically focus on me, but occasionally fly off to attack a village or some bunnies or a bear. Once I was being chased by a snow bear and mammoth and then a dragon swooped down, so I hightailed it out of there while I had the chance.

But it is the worst when they attack you then fly away, but not far enough and the game won't allow you to fast travel. If the damn dragon doesn't want to fight me anymore let me fast travel!

Yes! This is why I end up walking away from dragon's. I have /much/ more important things to do. Like delivering books. Or smithing dozens of pieces of armor. Or building a house. Or tomb raiding.

i always try to sneak away, or sneak if i see/hear a dragon. it usually works.

I think I've got at least 6 unused dragon souls just SITTING THERE.

Holy crap, haha. I haven't even made it to that point in the storyline but it sounds impossible. I've killed my share of dragons but only once have I had to fight more than one at a time. They're semi-rare too, so I always enjoy seeing them. I wonder if you progress with the main story if it'll stop? Or at least lessen a bit? How is one expected to fight four dragons at once?! Hot damn...

Yeah, from what I've heard it does calm down after you pass that point in the storyline? Not sure why I have that problem but I suspect it's because I tend to run away rather than fight a dragon on my own (I prefer when they have villagers to roast/freeze so I can snipe them from a distance with my Arrows of Awesome.)

Also, it's not multiple dragons at the same time - just dragons popping up all over the map so wherever I go to get a quest done it's like NOPE FIGHT THIS DRAGON INSTEAD.

ive fast travelled from one dragon to another. theres this one camp that gets attacked every time i go there, man.

It'll calm down a little, but then you might end up on the side of a mountain fighting two dragons, only to have a frost troll LITERALLY FALL OFF OF THE MOUNTAIN ABOVE YOUR HEAD AND EAT YOUR FACE.

I ain't bitter. Not at all.
