Re: Things in fic that make you want to hit the back button

Any fics that are labelled A/B but there are mentions of other A or B pairings or weird shippy moments with other people.

Unwarned for character death. (I was reading a great fic a few months ago and in the last chapter half my OTP died out of nowhere. My friend had died that morning and I'd been reading the fic because I thought it was going to have a happy ending. Nope.)

Fics where it feels like the author and all the characters are looking down on anyone who doesn't share their 'progressive' open relationship values. (Literal example from a fic: A/B are together, and C/D are together. D isn't completely comfortable with C dancing, flirting, sitting naked in a hot tub with, and receiving expensive gifts from B. D is painted as if being uncomfortable with any of this is him being irrational and jealous.)
