A character who, in the show, is fairly badass and maybe emotional but not a woobie suddenly *crying* and *emoting* and basically falling to bits over a hangnail or something. I hate that.

I also don't like fic that can't keep its own internal timeline or continuity straight. Very annoying and won't hold my attention for long.

Any fic where Sam and Dean hate each other/don't get along/fuck the other one over.

Oh god the first one so much.

Similarly, fics that take a 30 year old (thereabouts) marine and make him/her sound like a total teenager.

YES. I mean, okay, Jensen wore a pink shirt with 'Petunias' on it in the 'The Losers' (for his niece's soccer team), but i very much doubt he's gonna ramble on and on and on about Fall Out Boy and My Little Pony.

I just can't stand it. Mostly because in rl, people being overly emotional kinda make me cringe.

Yeah. It can be awkward in real life. I tend to be emotional, so it doesn't bother me usually.

My mom was always so stoic German, and i really got that from her, so - big emotional scenes kind of makes us go all stiff and quiet.

Then we sob in private, heh.
