I haven't started my shopping yet, but I was at the store earlier and there was Christmas stuff everywhere. It seems so bizarre because it doesn't feel like the holidays yet at all to me...it seems like it should still be July or something.

Do you remember how this time last year the internet wouldn't shut up about 2013 being the Mayan apocalypse?

it's funny how this used to annoy me. now that I'm living in a less-than-ideal situation I'm clinging to the Christmas spirit. I woke up november 1st and sang jingle bells, not even joking.

the year does seem to have flown by though. october especially went by in a flash.
