I liked Dany in AGOT because I do think her story of starting as a 13 year old girl sold in marriage to a self-possessed khaleesi is really interesting.

But once she starts getting superinvolved in Essos politics and wars, I just zone out. I get that her arc is all about her learning how to be a leader but it's so BORING. And Dany isn't especially likable.

Catelyn, Brienne and Sansa are my favorite ASOIAF female character. Honorable mention to Asha Greyjoy.

Why would you say she isn't especially likable? I run into a lot of fans of hers and I'm just wondering what your reasons are.

Well I don't think she's UNlikable.

But Idk. I guess that in recently books, I find her frustrating more than anything.
