(Anonymous) 2013-11-09 03:14 am (UTC)(link)I consider myself basically liberal, if more fiscally moderate. I believe that people need to be held accountable, and I'm sorry, but I don't always feel my fellow liberals believe that. Someone on my flist once said she felt it was privileged for people to think she should just take any job she could get. Um - why? Yeah, it sucks having to work a job you'd rather not have, but that's what a lot of people do. That's what I do. I could quit, I could live off my parents and/or the government until I found the perfect job, but I'm not going to do that. But thinking that means I'm Rush Limbaugh's golfing buddy, even though I despise the man. And that's the problem.
