Oh man, do I feel you, OP.

I find it especially annoying because I grew up in a conservative Republican household, and have already changed so many of my view so drastically that my mother has probably dug herself halfway to China spinning in her grave at 10,000 RPMs. I don't think I can stretch much further left without breaking something.

So you feel that you should have some measure of loyalty to the views you were raised with, not because of whatever merit those views might have in themselves, but simply because your parents taught them to you? Fascinating.

No, because some of them actually make sense to me, and the opposing views further over on the left seem a bit unreasonable or impractical by comparison. I've changed my views where I found I agreed more with liberals on the merits of the issues, and I've just about gone as far as I can without moving further left merely for the sake of political correctness, which I am unwilling to do.
