As far as I know, the designs and card titles are by Himaruya but it's just designs in an art book. Everything else (including what's in this secret) is entirely fanon.

*prefacing this by saying that I ship USUK mostly in the actual main story, but do like the occasional "official AU" stuff like Cardverse too*

I actually think that it makes sense that some people ship them in Cardverse only. A lot of people are put off from shipping America and England in the main story because of the whole "brothers" thing (even if America did disown England as a brother after the revolution). That's not an issue in Cardverse. Plus their character in Cardverse tend to be quite different from the main story fanfics too (far less woobie!England, for example), which is certainly more appealing for a lot of people.

I...ship USUK as a whole so...uh. Yeah.

That said, ship how, when and where you want to ship. There are ships that I only ship in AUs too - and ships I ship that are closer to "Two people floating in a bucket" than a "ship" size-wise, so...I get how it can feel awkward sometimes to ship something off the beaten path/in a way off the beaten path.
