I was about to post the exact same thing. :PUgh, man I dislike that fanon so much. Granted Thor 2 Odin is a much bigger dick this time around, but I still wont buy that he was super abusive to Loki. But I really cannot with the abusive Thor BS, I'm personally of the opinion that they were both butts to eat other at times because that's what siblings do.

Yes! I mean, that's what me and my brothers do, it's just the way siblings are IMO. (And honestly, I personally would find the idea of siblings who never got on each others nerves to be a little creepy. Maybe it happens in real life, I don't know, but in fiction I wouldn't be able to take it seriously at all.)

Yup, agreed. Even if they never had the problems that they do and had an otherwise healthy and loving relationship I couldn't imagine them never fighting, it seems too unlikely.

Right? It would seem plastic, and fake, which is a good fiction prompt if you're not trying to portray realistic siblings, but not when we're supposed to see them as siblings, and feel bad that things went sour. :/
