Yes. I've met people on F!S whom I now text regularly with and call (with phone, not skype lol) once in a while.

I've seen people be really judgmental on the secrets... and then over in general comments be incredibly nice and supportive. So I guess it depends where people are conversing with each other, maybe? (The difference may be chalked up to the large amount of admissions that people submit secrets they don't actually mean, either to troll or just to see what people will say about it or in hopes of finding people with different opinions; this as opposed to general comments, where people frequently are asking for advice and seem very unlikely to be posting for effect.)

Well, secret responses are aimed at like, two sentences and a picture. Not an actual person. I don't really take replies to my secrets personally and I don't intend my own replies to be personal.

Well yeah, but I dunno - I take into account that there's a real person who made the secret, just as with any statement anywhere on the net. Real people made everything that shows up there, and we seldom know the whole story. So unless it's needlessly stupid or offensive, I try not to be rude... I would have assumed most people do likewise when they see something that they don't think is trolling, but I guess maybe not.

There are very few people here, named or anon, who I would call assholes and/or trollish, and even the ones who are can be quite pleasant when they feel like it. I've gotten my kicks on a few wank comms where anything goes and if you've got a thin skin, go the fuck home, and F!S doesn't begin to approach the nastiness of those places, not without Case rolling in to shut it down.
