Re: Self-censoring swearing?

I self-censor when I'm around children, when I'm around friends I know are uncomfortable with it, because it doesn't really hurt me, or when I don't know who might be listening, and be uncomfortable with it.

Or depending on my mood, really, as I tend to think of censored words as sillier? Like, no one can take frick-frack seriously, let's be real. I also feel like censored words are calmer? Like "fuck yes!" or "godfuckingdammit" are really strong emotions, while "oh my goodness (gracious is optional)!" and "oh gosh" are calmer?
