Re: Is not swearing really that weird?

I didn't see the thread last night but I only notice if non-swearers make a big deal over swear words being this huge thing or harass other people for swearing or use cutesy swear words or say "bleep" or "beeping" constantly.

If you're substituting something for a curse word you do not have the moral high ground, do it all you want but don't pretend it's all that different. It's not the particular combination of letters that make a swear word offensive.

If you someone didn't make a big deal about not swearing I probably wouldn't even notice to be honest.

Now what really gets me is people who just swear constantly, to no effect. They aren't cool or intimidating they just sound uneducated and uncreative. Plus way to strip cursing of its intent and effect.
