6. Yeah, I know what that is like. >>; I still can't even hardly interact with the person if I can help it, because I hold a grudge from when the mun was directing me over IM how my character should act in response to hers. Oh, how I hated that. I can play my characters for myself, thanks. -_-;

14. SO DO I! T__T ...And the Backstreet Boys. Yes, I admit it. >>; I'm not really biased toward or against any type of music, but I really do miss a lot of the boybands and their songs. It's so nostalgic.

23. I also can't watch/read his back-story without crying. I'm amazed how he can handle such a thing happening and still go on to want to cherish those memories and smile as brightly as he does. He's a stronger and more mature character than people give him credit for.

36. I, for one, haven't really been a fan either of the actor or the character. XD; Even with all of the revelations in book seven, although I might have felt for his character a bit more in a sympathetic way, I don't really understand the mad-fangirling.

35. As much as I am going to get flack for this, I sympathize. Interview and the next three books will always hold a special place in my heart, even if I despise the author, the fandom, and the batshit insanity it's all produced. But it did influence me when I was a young teenager, especially to write, and I have to be thankful for that. Like it or not, there are some things you can't change. If there's one thing to believe in about the books, believe in the memories you had when you didn't feel this way. When everything was new and you were exposed to a book that meant something to you. That's what I've done, at least.

It absolutely is! But they end up somehow working in GL's advantage. It takes all those tired cliches and rolls them so over the top that they come out seeming fresh and FUN. For me, like the OP when I watch it it's like back when I first got into anime and everything was EPIC. Even stuff I'd look back on now and go "lol, this is crap" was awesome.

Seriously, though. I tried to watch the anime when it was first being released over here (lolol OLD, back on VHS even) and I really couldn't get into it. Yeah, it was fun and quirky and really different, but I just couldn't watch it after 7 episodes.

Picked up the manga two or three years ago, can not put it down, I love it to death. I'm trying to give the anime another shot so I'm just now finishing it, almost ten years later.

...I still prefer the manga. :c

33 - Eeee!!! Colonel Brandon! Jane Austen + Alan Rickmen = Heaven. I also loved him in Mesmer.

35 - The first four books were gorgeous beyond words. I wish there were more vampire novels so well written. Instead all I see are cheap romance-esque novels with stupid vampires.

i totally agree with what you said for 35. i'm still looking for another good vampire series to read, but nothing matches up to this series for me atleast. i always find myself comparing.
