Examples of female led shows with decent sized fandoms-
Buffy
OUAT
Sailor Moon

... and I can't think of any others.

I find it really sad that only one of these is current.

How about Bones? I mean, I don't know how much "fandom" it has online, but it seems like it's pretty successful and not only is the lead a woman, a decent-sized chunk of the recurring cast is too (Angela, Cam, even Daisy [who I like even though she's annoying]).

Well, Bones is the 13th largest TV fandom on ff.net, so I'd say it's large.

There's also Twilight. Sorry. But it is female-led. And huge.

I don't know about Twilight. Yes, it's got a female lead but let's face it: the fandom is all about the guys. Bella is just there to be the thing the hot guys lust after while being hot.
