Actually, sure, let's do this! I will compare stats on one of my in-progress fics, Between the Sun and the Moon (FF.Net | AO3).

FF.Net

Hits: 5,027
Reviews: 21 (0.4% of readers)
Alerts: 75 (1.5%)
Favourites: 31 (0.6%)

AO3

Hits: 1,261
Subscriptions: 12 (0.95%)
Kudos: 23 (1.8%)

So yeah ... most of them have less than 1% difference. That's not enough for me to consider one site to really be all that different from the other.

I think it also depends on where you think kudos fall within the range of feedback. Because to me, the kudos + comments would mean a greater percentage of feedback on AO3 compared to FFnet.

For my purposes, I'm sort of going with the idea that favourites = kudos, even though I know that's not quite true.

This thread is the first time I'm hearing the "favorites = kudos" thing for FFN. I've always thought of Favorites as being more akin to bookmarking, and that's generally how I've always treated it.
