There are only 265 works for the fandom on AO3 at all, though, and of those, roughly half of them are genfic. It's a popular show, but so far, it isn't a runaway fic generator.

(And it bears mentioning that the vast majority of the romantic fic in the fandom is still for a mixed couple, it's just the het couple rather than the slash one.)

kewl. but the secret is, essentially, about the op being glad the sleepy hollow fandom isn't overrun with slash.

6 works out of 265 or 6 works out of 265k - it doesn't matter. it's still only 6 works. likelihood op will have to tumblr savior ichrank in the near future because it's omg out of control and dominating discussion seems slim to none.

Just wait until after Yuletide. There was a good amount of people asking for fic for the series and a good amount of writers.
