(Anonymous) 2013-11-12 05:59 am (UTC)(link)The TV show toned down Cersei massively from the books, and it darkened Jaime a bit. (Example: He doesn't kill his cousin in the books. His annoying cousin gets killed by the enemy at a later time and he doesn't feel too sad about it, but it's very different from strangling his cousin to death as he does in the show.)
