tv/movie recs with well-handled trans characters?
There's Hit & Miss, which handles things better than most, portraying trans-ness as an important facet of a character instead of as a joke, and is more about the character doing things than the character being trans, and she's portrayed as a woman, instead of as a man in a dress. I'm telling myself there has got to be another show like this, but that's the only one I've come across.
I'm hoping this is because I haven't looked hard enough, not because such shows don't exist.

Orange is the New Black seems like something I should check out, thanks.
