Because it's a job and they get paid? Honestly, male OB/GYN's outnumber female in my hospital.

I don't think I've ever stopped to contemplate why someone does a job. I'm pretty sure that it's definitely not for a perverted reason unless you want to assume male family doctors are perverts as well for this same mythical reason.
