Ico gave me a fear of heights.

Basically there's this point where you're up on top of the castle, and you have to walk out on this beam and climb down a chain hanging from it, and start swinging on the chain to give yourself momentum to jump from the chain into a window.

I pressed the wrong button and instead of jumping, let go of the chain.

Camera panned to show the forest way, way below as Ico fell, turning into a speck and then disappearing... and it was still another several horrifying seconds until the screen turned red to indicate I had died.

(I used to be that obnoxious kid who would go out on the glass-bottomed observation decks in tall buildings and jump up and down to make other people nervous. :P)
