In addition to the reasons given in the thread, you do realize that a whole lot of gynos work with pregnant women and deliver babies? That shit is fascinating bordering on miraculous.

(Though come to think of it, I heard once that Dr. Mendelsohn -- a man -- believed strongly that men shouldn't be in the delivery room because their brains are not equipped to handle something so incredible. I mean, aside from the hard parts of labor, which they are also not calibrated to withstand and often can't watch. But he meant that seeing a new life just magically appear into the world is too mind-blowing for men to handle.)
