Nah, son, do you also assume male doctors who want to specialize in people's rectums must be gay? Some people view certain body parts as entirely clinical and separate from the person they're attached to, as a curious biological puzzle to be examined and solved. Anybody's who's ever been stood over by a couple of doctors casually discussing all the ways they're about to slice-and-dice you like a dead frog in Biology class should probably assume that's how most male gynecologists view female genitalia: "Ooh, what an interesting specimen!"
