There are a lot of mean replies here that don't take into account that you're probably your own worst critic. Everybody has flaws, and Piper is specifically designed with the kind of flaws that come with being a super privileged person. You're supposed to see yourself in the protagonist, good and bad!

Yeah, she's entitled and whiny and self-absorbed, etc., but so are a lot of people. If you're aware of those facets of yourself and willing to work on them? You're already a lot better than Piper was (I think she's learning). That's stuff you can work on, and it's worth it to remember them, but make those a focal point for change, not a reason to be down on yourself. She's also compassionate, once she realizes what's going on around her, and she's passionate and resourceful and smart.
