spoiler for Thor: The Dark World

Honestly, I don't think Loki could carry a movie on his own either. He needs Thor as a foil. There needs to be that dynamic of Loki not being completely evil because Thor gives him a chance to redeem himself. It's interesting that even though Thor seemed to write off Loki in the beginning of the movie, it was Thor who knew that Loki was putting up an illusion to hide his grief over their mother's death. That brotherly dynamic of Thor knowing deep down how Loki would act is more interesting than Loki running around on his own creating chaos or Thor running around saving the day. I really hope the third movie explore that.
