Since a lot of people don't seem to be familiar with Brave 10, some explanation: during the manga scene shown in the sceret, when he lifts his shirt the audience doesn't see what's under it and it's left kinda ambiguous from the cast reactions (Yukimura is clearly interested but is standing behind Kamanosuke and misses it). The anime scene involves Saizou asking if Kamanosuke should really be using the men's bath and causing him to storm off to bathe in the river instead. A later bit involves him fighting a bad guy whose specialty involves illusions, who traps Kamanosuke into an illusionary world where he thinks he's "Princess Yuri" and wears dresses and seems to identify as female (the manga scene where he wakes up involves him in the bath but always either shows him strategically covered in suds or from behind. Though there is one panel where there definitely seems to be *ahem* something between his legs). The series tends to play around with the "Is he or isn't he?" thing a lot. That said, I agree with the OP that Kamanosuke clearly identifies as male and refering to him as 'she' would be incorrect.
