I go on /a/ once in a blue moon, but mostly I just discuss stuff with my friends. That's generally enough discussion for me. I used to hang out on /co/ more frequently when I read more American comics, and find the general level of discussion on /a/ much less interesting, which was disappointing to me when I got back into manga and anime.

I agree about /a/ and /co/. I secretly love it when /co/ manages to have an offtopic thread about an anime/manga, they're so much more fun and laid back than /a/, it's a much more enjoyable place to discuss things you like.

Then
>>>/co/

And never come back.

Wow someone's butthurt. I don't even understand why. Everyone on /a/ hates /a/.

Also don't type like you're on 4chan when you're not on 4chan, it just makes you look like a massive tool.

I'm not butthurt, just rude and aggresive as I'm always are. It's nothing personal.

(Anonymous) 2013-11-17 07:27 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, I spent a lot more time on 4chan when I was into the stuff on /co/. Maybe people are younger on average on /a/? Maybe anime fans are just more annoying? Who knows.

4chan is generally pretty bitter anyway, add that to the typical anime fan - elitist, obsessive, fastidious - and it gets old fast.
