I can't really enjoy the Hobbit buzz this year because I'm so tired of Benedict Cumberbatch. I like him as an actor, and I have nothing specifically against him. It's just that he's fucking everywhere. His fans are everywhere, even in fandoms that have nothing to do with him. His haters are everywhere, too. I could use a year or so of not seeing his face, hearing is voice, or reading his name. That would be cool.

He is kind of over-exposed right now, but I can hardly blame him or his fans for two of his movies coming out on the same day and two more being released over the next two months with S3 of Sherlock to come out the month after that. I don't think anyone could have planned that intentionally.

That is also why I'll never watch another Joss Whedon show/movie ever. His fucking insane fans. I was reading a blog earlier, guy posted a picture of cloud shaped like a dragon, and the very first fucking comment was from a Whedonite plugging that damn failed tv show that the insane Whedon fans won't let go. Creators like Whedon and Cumberbatch need to get their fandoms under control, smack 'em down a few times and tell them to dial back that shit.
