(Actually Gwen Christie's a pretty darn good fit. Sure, she's prettier than what most expected, but the truth is, we don't know how much of Briene's ugliness is due to just her looks, and to the fact that she doesn't fit the Westeros standard of petite pretty maiden with silky smooth hair and skin and perky bosom.
I can't argue the show character is slightly more bloodthirsty, but her core personality is still there, and she doesn't do anything crazy without a
painfully plot-drivenreason.)
