there are plenty of dudes here! (I admit I default anons to female in my head, but I take care never to do it in writing because I don't like people misgendering me either)

Eh, Fandomsecrets is just one of those rare internet places where assuming "she" is probably more accurate than assuming "he."

I mean, I have no horse in this race, but it's not a big leap.

I don't really think it's ok to use "he" by default in other places so I try to avoid doing the opposite here

Going on no other information than "active on F!S", I believe "female" is the best guess.

I'm not aware of any additional statistics on the demigraphics of trolls, far less inept trolling.

probably statistically best guess but it is not that hard to write "they" instead of "she" if you are not sure

so write "he/she" if it bothers you. or "ze" works too - I tend to think that one sounds pretentious so I don't use it, but you can if you want.

I feel kinda bad for not liking zie, hir, etc. All of the gender neutral prounouns I've seen sound so ridiculous so I don't use them. However if I met anyone who wanted to be referred by any of those, I would. I wouldn't want to be an asshole just because I dislike a few words.

I use singular they. I don't mind using it and by using it, I'm less likely to get dogpiled than if I used he/she. I've seen people get dogpiled for using she/he so I'm hesitant to use it. I really wish that there were gender neutral pronouns that didn't sound so ridiculous.

They doesn't sound ridiculous. Meant to say that I wish there were more gender neutral pronouns than just they. Ones that don't sound ridiculous like the ones people are coming up with.

I know what you mean, even if I don't teach English. That said I usually just type s/he or him/her.

I'm not a native speaker and I was taught to use singular "they" by my teachers, including nativce speakers.
