I'm so over people wanting shit to happen just to piss other people off. I don't even see what's so egregious about post that you want people to be angry. What's wrong with wanting a Black Widow movie over a Loki one, especially since you admit that Loki's not much without Thor.

To be fair, most critics say that Loki was the highlight of Thor 2. Loki is certainly more interesting to watch on screen than Black Widow.

There are so many Marvel heroines more deserving of a movie than BW. The fact that she didn't get her own lead up film proves that she works best as a supporting character. She wouldn't be able to carry a film on her own because there's only so far 'sexy badass female' can go, storywise, and those movies were called 'Kill Bill.'

Wonder Woman is the only superheroine (I know she's DC, not Marvel. She's just the best example) I can think of off the top of my head who could carry a feature film, and DC and WB can't even manage a decent script for that project, let alone a film around a supporting character.

If Marvel was interested in a superheroine film, I'd much rather see a spinoff with Sif.

That was Saturday night. And I am not actually going to go out and kill whales. I expect that would be SUPER expensive. I probably could not even afford to rent a boat to SEE whales. Much less the harpoon gun and large rope. I assume that is all you need to hunt whales.

I'm with you, anon. I reblogged the post referenced in this secret. I would love to have a BW movie. I couldn't stomach a Loki movie; he's good in small doses but good Christ, a whole movie with him as the protagonist aaauuuugghhhhhh.

I don't know why you think he would be a protagonist. I mean, the main character sure, but I don't see why he would have to be a god guy.

Hell, now that I think about it I would love to see a movie about Loki just fucking shit up as the main character. I think it would do great at a series of shorts of just different trickster Loki adventures.

I...didn't say anything about being a good guy? I meant protagonist as in the main character, the person we're with for most of the movie.

I like that idea. If there's one thing that was missing from The Avengers (because he had to be a straight up bad guy) it was more of his mischievous side. I think The Dark World almost got the balance right between him trolling and indulging his evil streak and I'd want to see something more along those lines.

I'm equal parts "maybe they could show what happened in the abyss" and "I want to see him fucking shit up in the present MCU time line, because he can now" - I'm more keen for the latter because I don't really like looking back too much and am happy to fill in the blanks myself with the events in the void/abyss.

But this all feels like me fantasy plot writing because I don't think that film will happen ultimately.

I want to see the abyss for the woobiness in fanfics that would come out (yeah, I like me some hurt/comfort). But I want to see him in MCU now. Maybe, shorts about what he is doing post-Thor TDW.
