Maybe it's 'cause you're already so prolific? I tend to signal boost things on my fandom blog, but only those that seem to be unnoticed or ignored. If you appear to have a steady fanbase or are known in the fandom I won't bother reblogging/boosting the alreadyknown

It's be like having a blog where I signal boost young adult fantasy, I'm unlikely to mention Harry Potter. Everyone knows about that

Ah sorry I was using that as a hypothetical example. I have a pokemon fandom blog but not a YA rec/review. I'd follow one now that I've thought about it tho
