So apparently, yesterday, somebody mentioned that there used to be a FS kink meme. I'm intrigued. Tell me more about this madness.

Dunno if there is a list yet, since the new kink meme is still in its infancy. Personally, I ship Chard/Noodles, Dethtoll/ForgottenJester, and Anon/Anon.

I remember a long time ago people shipped dethtoll with, um... someone. I forgot who. The comm, as far as I know, was never very active and didn't do much.

Unless there was a second one I was unaware of.

The problem is they have an opt-in rather than an opt-out, which is lame. Also there's no comments and no good way to comment.

The comm isn't ready yet, that's why comments are not allowed. I want to make sure there are good rule in place before the comm goes live, since real people are involved.

I made this because there is no way to recover the old one.

It's not ready to go live yet. I think users should be opt-in for the entire meme but chardmonster thinks everyone should be automatically opted-in for everything except explicit content. What are your thoughts? What are other rules the meme should have?

I like automatically opted minus explicit, but considering no one would recognize me non-anon or ship me, I don't think I have much of a say in this.

No opt-out, please, but a nice, thorough header so one can avoid unwanted content: ship, tags, rating etc.

(No special trigger warning, please, just the general AO3 style: Graphic Depictions Of Violence, Major Character Death, Rape/Non-Con and Underage. Further triggers and warnings can be noted under tags, as one persons squick is another's kink.)

You should have an opt-out for the entire meme. We can keep a running list of people who don't want to be involved.

Opt-in means, again, it's pretty much going to be three people.

I know this is an unpopular opinion, but full opt out is the way to go.

Keep it 100% fictional only, based on what you've seen around FS. Don't be creepy and go search up someone's real life location or appearance or name pr issues just to make your fic more 'authentic'. We are not celebrities and our blogs are not paid public interviews. If you're doing 'research' through people's personal journals for this, you're doing it wrong.

Maybe include a "tell us about yourself" post where people can opt in to give details if they want but otherwise it should be made up.
