(Anonymous) 2013-11-24 01:02 am (UTC)(link)I personally just love characters that have strength- not physical strength- but the strength to try to make the right decision and make the choice not to be selfish (because don't we all as people can't help but want to be selfish for ourselves?), and to love those who are precious to them. And the strength to grow as a person, and find the humility in one's self.
Because Thor's likability and isn't about the fact that he's powerful and physically strong- it's about his personality. And no he's not perfect, because he has to work at things like overcoming his arrogance.
I like Loki too mind you, because I do also like flawed, villianous characters (although I personally don't think MCU Loki is really that intriguingly written a villain, but anyways). But Thor is just such a better character to me
