I was wanting to say something but wasn't sure how to put it and you've covered some of what I'm feeling.

My dream job as a child was to be a published author but I didn't know how much of a struggle it is to even get noticed. Ok, I'm definitely not the best writer in the world and nobody deserves anything just because they want it, but I've never really had the strength to try very hard. Also even if I do have a vision of a world and characters I find I get incredibly frustrated trying to ensure all the necessary details are woven into the plot. My weakness is, I just want to get to the exciting bits basically...so I don't think I could ever properly finish my own novel. And when you do finish, that's not even half the battle! Hats off to the people who try!
