I used to want to get published as a 'real' author but lbr, being a 'real' author is hard and my studies don't give me a lot of time or wven leftover energy to practice a lot. I still like writing, and that's where fanfiction comes in. I'm astounded anybody could be so concerned by what strangers on the Internet do with their talent.
