First off. You sound entitled and I do not give a single fuck if I make you ~criiiiinge~ because I'm not doing what you think I ought to be doing.

Second. I and many other people actually write BOTH original and fanfiction. I just happen to believe that continuing to write fanworks might help whip up an audience for when I finish and publish my original works.

But some people just write fanfiction. and you know what that's their right. They're doing it because it's just a light hobby that they enjoy. It would be one thing if you were just suggesting making money. But when you come in acting like you think their hobby is a waste and the fact that they don't seek to publish or make money makes you 'cringe' or they OWE it to something or other to publish than you're entering the territory of obnoxious , perhaps a bit self righteous and bratty.
