Yeah, I tried a Mirror's Edge LP and that was a terrible idea. The FPS motion sickness is actually a thing ("simulation sickness," which is physiologically the opposite of seasickness but causes the same effects) and is actually pretty common; the U of MN did a study which found that about half of participants felt ill after 1 hour of Halo.

I like doing knitting while watching LPs which might tick the migraine option, since it requires intermittent but not constant visual attention and is more engaging for me than simple audio stimulus--I do this for podcasts as well.
