Despite this 'mature' attitude you have going on, it seems you're unable to grasp the concept of budgeting and prioritising one's own expenses.

In addition, wow OP cry moar. 'XYZ people don't fit my definition of fan, so I'll get them to spend /their/ money for /my/ peace of mind. Woe is me.'

It's wonnderful that you're lucky enough to earn a lot. You should consider the possibility that not everyone is as lucky as you.

who says they earn a lot? it took me a couple of years to put away enough for a ps3 because all i could spare was a dollar here and a couple of dollars there.

it's called saving up for something you want.

There are a lot of things I want. There are a lot of things my family members want too, and ps3 is very far on that list.

It's called having priorities.
