This is just as stupid as last week's "I'm so mad that someone is getting commissioned for fanfic" secret.

If people want to give away their talents and stuff for free, let them. My dad's amazing with cars, and he'd never think of charging friends for providing help with their auto problems and I doubt he wants to make a living as a mechanic. It's the same concept. I find the thought of having to write fanfiction for pay an unhappy one, personally.

And if you're suggesting that I have to write original fic just because I could get paid for it... no, just no, you have missed the point of fanfic entirely, do not pass go, do not collect $200.
