Right? The amount of times family and friends have looked at a picture I drew and went "You really should do this professionally!" is incredible. I mean, yeah, it's nice of you to say that, but you have no idea how many much much more talented people are out there in the art related fields, professionally trained and all, who do not get jobs. Just believe me when I tell you that it's not a good idea!

Same goes for Etsy. "Oh, those needle felted animals are so cute and those earrings are so cool. Why don't you sell it?" Well, because it's a fucking hassle to sell shit you made in my country and in the end, I'd have to pay more taxes than I actually earn, that's why. And I really love giving those things as presents to my friends, okay?
