It doesn't matter. OP has no leg to stand on in this case. If it's not about supporting the industry, why does it matter if they watch LPs or pirate? If it is, why suggest piracy?

OP here, the only games I pirate are a handful of 90's SNES games I used to own as a kid.

I only brought up piracy because other people kept bringing up poverty.
