I was thinking with all those anons (or one really repetitive anon) who always shows up and says that fandomsecrets is dead, what are ways that we could get more people in f!s? I'm sure there's people who can refer it to a friend or maybe advertise f!s somewhere like the various fandom confession tumblrs. Also, would we even want to do that? It is slow some days and I think more would be nice sometimes, but there could be a flood of tumblr SJWs or trolls (beside our resident ones). What do you think, F!S?

I'm fine with f!s as it is.

Just mention it around so people are aware it exists. I don't think a lot of people even know it's here, what with all the specific 'confession' tumblrs and blogs. I definitely think we could do with some new blood to mix things up here.

I already suggested people post about it on Tumblr. Pretty much all my Tumblr followers are from f!s, such me mentioning it doesn't do any good. But, some of the people here who have a lot of other followers (and I know there are some) could mention it if they wanted and it might bring in a few more people.

Yep, Tumblr doesn't do much good, but that's where most of the fandom is these days. I think all those confession blogs and things are enough for them, although imo they can't beat a good discussion (or wank, sometimes), on f!s

I follow a couple of confession blogs and their "secrets" are so stupid most the time. 99% of them are "would hit it" secrets.

go tell the people on the vdex project forums that you can get like 100 points per day advertising your party here

I know we did seem to have peak activity when we had a goon thread dedicated to 'ironically' following us.

I bet a fourth of them stayed.

I find myself wanting to share FS with my fandoms...but I also don't want to share because I don't want anyone who comes over to FS to ID me or my secrets or bring over the wank I've made a secret about. If you get me there. :S

Honestly, I'm kinda happy and slightly proud that I can finally recognize almost every single logged in poster by username.

On the serious side of things, I really don't know. I mean, yes, there's advertising on tumblr, but I don't think native tumblronians are fond of the "old" ways.

yeah the SJWs/trolls might spike a bit but it would calm down after a little while.

I'd love to see more traffic, or at least more secrets!
