Pretty straight forward thread, I hope.

I found out about f!s probably about two years ago when someone from a fairly small forum I frequent mentioned a secret here.

Many moons ago on LJ. I have a vague memory of someone posting a link to one of the secrets? It was way back when the comments were a free-for-all. So happy when Case changed that.

Something Awful's thread on it like four years ago? I don't remember the year. I didn't really start commenting on secrets until last year.

I found F!S... god, about three and a half years ago? I honestly have no memory of HOW I found it, I just got kind of addicted to reading secrets (without commenting) and then started to comment.

Sometime the year it started on LJ. I had real life friends who read it. They're not here anymore.

I used to go on the p!atd forums way back when. there was this thread where just a few people would talk to each other, and there was an unwritten rule that no one else was allowed to post. one day I decided to creep on the thread, and somebody was talking about f!s. I looked it up and have been here pretty much daily ever since.

I was shown a secret on MSN that was relevant to a fandom we shared, we laughed about it, I asked what it was from, was linked to FS in...gee 2007?
I've been anon up until a couple of days ago.

Livejournal. Someone kept on posting secrets they had found on their feed. I followed it back to the source. This was way back when F!S was only in the double digits. Yes, that long ago.

Oh way back when F!S was just a baby and there hadn't been 100 posts yet, around post 60 or something was what I figured out last time I tried to see where I actually started out... My former RL best friend linked me to F!S and I like to think that I got this comm in "the divorce" so to speak.

Some time in late 2007, not too long after I created my current LJ account (pimpmytardis). I'd even go so far as to say almost exactly 6 years ago! :') I don't know exactly who I heard about it from. A few of my RL friends used to post there, but I think they came there after me- megalomaniageek is one of my closest friends and was quite an f!s regular back on LJ, also chiyo_no_hikari, little_serenity, maybe a few more.

Wandered over from Fandom Wank, but rarely commented unanon until last year, maybe the year before. I find it easier to stay logged into dreamwidth.

Oh, and 2009 when I first heard about it, around late 2010 when I started checking it out, and early 2011 when I submitted my first secret.

a long time ago

there was LJSECRET and at one point they stopped allowing fandom stuff because fandomsecrets existed

for a while I was reading both but eventually stopped with ljsecret and then I went away for a few years, and now fs is still here but ljsecret is gone haha.

I shouldn't laugh.

Through a friend irl who also got me into LJ. She had an LJ account but never got one on DW, but we both still follow f!s.

Probably about 5 years ago when somebody in an LJ Stargate comm made reference and linked to a Stargate secret.
