Re: personal problems at work TW: Child death

I work nigh exclusively with women, in a tiny part of the building with eight, or so, regular coworkers. I know more about a couple personal lives than I would ever want to from work acquaintances, and even from some closer to being friends.

Honestly, I tune them out. There are a couple there who literally talk THE WHOLE TIME even when there's nothings to talk about, and no-one else to engage with. Which means I've heard the stories three and four times before, which is the only reason I know them at all.

I'm sorry you're getting loaded with these unwanted details. Try just bending your head to your work and see if that gets the message across? I don't know what else to tell you, sorry.
